Dementia family carer training

We are a Twyford-based charity providing free online dementia training, for anyone who is caring for a family member or friend with dementia. The training takes place online via Zoom in small groups, and includes follow up support and advice. We ask participants to buy our accompanying training booklet for £3.99 + P&P, but otherwise, the training is completely free. The 7-week course looks at real-life practical examples of how to apply our simple ABC set of skills, to help improve the wellbeing of both the carer and the person with dementia. Our trainer Shirley Pearce has years of experience of working with both carers and those with dementia, in care home settings and within the person's home.
